If you would like to listen to the personal stories of how war affected my family members and my feelings on war, which again, is not funny at all and might cause facial wetness and feelings of sadness, you can watch this video I made 3 years ago on the subject. (There are a few not nice words in there, just so you know)

As a child of a veteran myself who has also been in areas of conflict, and areas he can't tell me about, this makes me happy and I love the llama more than I can say.
ReplyDeleteI am truly sorry to hear of both your dad's mental and emotional pain. I thought the You-tube viedo was nice but sad. May each of you find peace, for I don't like war or anytype of fighting for it hurts everyone.
ReplyDeleteYour video was incredibly powerful. After hearing about what your dads witnessed, had to do, and are still living with, saying "Thank you" to a veteran somehow doesn't seem like the right thing to say anymore.
