WTQ!?

I asked my nephew what I should write about today in my blarg, and after asking me what my blarg was, he narrated the following story.  He assured me it is an original, so if it is not... blame the five year old for the copyright infringement.

Once, there was a goose

and he walked into a truck while he wasn't paying attention

And the truck kept driving

And the duck kept walking. . .
(Wait, I thought you said it was a goose... It was a goose that turned INTO a duck... Alright...)
And he said 'What the quack is going on!?"

That silly goose!
The end.

Giggling he told me assuredly "That will make them laugh!"  And I'm pretty sure he was right.  It made me laugh at least.

(It was specified that it was a red goose/duck and a blue green truck, for the record.  Clearly important parts of the story!)

  1. Awesome truck drawing-what program do you use for your illustrations? Children are masters of the absurd.

  2. Thank you. I use Corel Painter and a wacom bamboo tablet to do my illustrations.

  5. A red goose sounds incredibly awesome. I love kids' stories, they get right to the heart of it, no bullshitting around.

  6. Great story! I have to ask, How did you get to be so popular? How did you get so many followers and how did you let people know about your blog?

  7. @James- Clearly because I am SOOOO awesome!
Actually, it is because Blogger declared me as awesome using "Blog of Note" at the end of March. I posted nearly every day and forwarded all of my posts to them using a mention (@blogger) on Twitter for about a month. I also have a small following from my art so I got those people reading and sharing. Oh, and I illustrated a couple things for Epbot.com and Cakewrecks.com so that gave me a good amount of exposure.

  8. Ask the kid if I can use that, "what the quack" line. So much better than WTF. You should probably record everything he says, btw.
