The Mellowcreme Dilemma.

Brach's Assorted Halloween Mellowcremes candy makes me happy and reminds me of crunchy leaves, and cool winds, and corduroy pants, and the late 70s. It also reminds me that, although it is really cute and I love buying it, I don't like the way it tastes, at all.

I love your conclusion to this brief bout of nostalgia

  2. If you think of this as a candy from "the old days" when licorice, blackjack gum, and hoarhound candy were pretty much all that was available, it makes sense. These nasty little pumpkins and halloweeny shapes were simply *the best* candy around.

They are certainly now one of the "treats" that gets thrown out with the months-old halloween candy bag.

  3. Try eating them with peanuts - tastes like a Payday. Good if you like them

  4. Wasn't there something on EPBOT about coating them and making a cute bracelet out of them?

  5. @Bonnie- I love the ones with the green stems, and candy corn, just the mallowcremes, blech. But I may try it!

@Jules- I don't know but it sounds like a great project for someone to make for me. =P
