Mothra

Sometimes, I get the feeling that I am part moth.  I usually get this feeling when my retinas are being burned because there is an uncovered light bulb somewhere and I am repeatedly staring at it despite my desire not to do so.

  1. As long as you don't follow it and burn your face, I think you'll be alright. Retinas can be worked around, big burn on your forehead with "Sylvania" clearly visible...not so much.

  2. I know the feeling. I've got some of those lightbulbs that are supposed to be "cleaner" light or whatever. They mimic sunlight or something like that. Anyway, they're REALLY bright, and I've stared into them a few times and then seriously regretted it.

  6. Haha, too funny. I have these 'new' neighbors that moved in at the end of last July(2010) and I am not making this up when I say this; But they have NOT TURNED OFF THEIR PORCH LIGHTS OR THEIR LAMP POST SINCE!!!!! Finally one light burned out. The others are still going strong....I wonder what kind of bulbs they use?
Anyways, I often sit outback on my patio with a BB Gun (since their house sits back farther than ours). Maybe one day I'll be drunk enough to use it!

  9. As long as you don't fly towards the lightbulb, you're okay.

  10. I hate uncovered light bulbs and overhead lighting with a deep, unmitigated passion. And cartoon Jodee is uber cute in those moth wings and bug-eye sunglasses :P

  11. Just as long as you don't become attracted to the sun...imagine, millions of moths flying out to the biggest fire in the sky......

  12. I'm pretty sure this is NOT what they meant when "they" said, "Go to the light." ;)

  14. At this moment, you have precisely 1,111 followers - make note of this, because that super neat number probably won't last long! Soon it shall be 1,112 and so on and so on and so on.

  15. In fact, I had 1113 like an hour ago but then 2 people decided they hated me at the same time.

And I am no longer on the front page of Blogs of Note, resulting in my views going down by 2/3rds... It may be a while before it goes up... unless I can convince you all to perform a pyramid scheme in which you each get 3 people to follow my blarg so eventually, I am the most famous blarger EVAR!!!

  17. But the new blogs of note are not nearly as cool as yours. I mean the official Netlfix blog? Really? How boring is that? Come on, google. Dig a little deeper.
