Day 29

I don't know.  I've been writing for a month straight, shy of a day.  I've run out of things to say.

I got ice cream for lunch.

It wasn't a cone.... or a llama... but it should have been.

  1. I have no idea how you have managed to come this far. I am exhausted after one post a week. I admire your dedication, and, as always, your superior art skills.

  2. Because I don't break my promises to myself unless I have absolutely no choice... though I was hoping that a satellite would fall from the sky and kill me so I didn't have to finish.

  3. Only one day left. I failed on the blogging everyday for Nov after nov 2nd. lol! applause for doing such a great job this month :)

  4. Ugh, it's so hard! I already wrote tomorrow's post so I just have to post ANYTHING tonight and I'm done. I'm hoping something exciting happens in the next 20 minutes.

  5. Posting every day isn't too bad... But the daily artwork amazes me. Please don't tell me each one only takes you 2 minutes -- I'd rather think you're agonizing over every stroke, making sure the reddish-orange (?) ice cream looks just right.

I actually had ice cream for lunch (dessert) today too -- we must be linked in some totally useless way!

  6. Hey I ate popcorn and wine for dinner last night. Feel free to draw that. ;)

  7. I like writing, but this month totally consumed my time. Time for a break on Dec 1th. Especially now that I feel a cold attacked me and feel feverish for the last two days, ugh. Thank you for your endurance, Jodie.

  8. I did way too much writing this month. Between NaBloPoMo (posting every day) and NaNoWriMo (writing a 50000 word), my butt and neck and back are seriously sore. I don't know people manage to sit in front of a computer all day.

I've enjoyed your daily posts, but it must take you a long time to do the artwork. It's not like you're just posting a rambling stream-of-consciousness paragraph. Your pictures are really detailed and beautiful. So yeah...kudos to you. This can't have been easy.

  9. @Alan- It is cherry dipped, which is my favorite sort of dipped cone. And yes, I work hard on my art. Each post takes about two hours for writing, editing, and art, and sometimes art editing.

  10. I'm pretty sleep deprived because llama cone has made me deliriously happy.

  11. I really liked that you posted something everyday. It was weird at first, but then I got it.
