It's been suggested, in the comments of the last post, that I have an "It's not a tumor" party. Thankfully I was given the suggestion of having a make-believe one, because my friends only exist on the internet (that is, spread across the country and the world, and a portion of them don't even have internet access at the moment... I have friends, damn it! *sobs*). So, make-believe party it is. You are all invited; it is a pot-luck.
I DON'T HAVE A BRAIN TUMOR!
Don't disappoint.
And don't forget, just a few more days left to get your Narwhal stickers!
Why can't I post a picture in the comments… I would totally post a picture of what I'm bringing (since I can't draw). I need to get on this cheese if ai want my Narwhale sticker too. I hate buying things when on my phone, so I'll stop by tomorrow! Ok?
Yay for no-tumour parties! Also, your dress is amazing. :-) And I hope you/everyone else enjoys the (slightly invisible) tower of loaded nachos I (invisibly) brought. :-D Congratulations on not having a tumour!
Yay! Who doesn't love a party?!? Especially when the good news is "no tumor"!!! I'll be bringing some of those little truffles with the bad reputations.....this is a good reason to go all out wild!!
Hooray for no tumor! I am bringing these, because they sound amazing: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchens/peanut-butter-chocolate-chip-bacon-cookies-recipe/index.html and you deserve bacon!
I'm bringing cow patty (ground beef, refried beans, olives, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and sour cream, and you can add or subtract the ingredients you want) and you eat it with chips...we use Doritos!
I'm also gonna bring an ice sculpture that I make myself...I'm gonna be in the middle though. It's bloody hot.
By the way, I love your party dress!!! Super cute!
Is that a turnip over by the llama? You have the nicest friends -- even the llamas bring things to the pot-luck! I would like to bring something amazing and creative, but I haven't been grocery shopping lately. So I sort of have to bring breakfast cereal... sorry.
I'll bring some chips and some very yummy dip that my mom says is like crack. Not really sure how she's come to this conclusion....but it's really good either way.
lol! Once October hits we'll all have to buy you birthday presents too. If I link pics from my FB will they show up? Or will the privacy settings make them not show up?
Ronja- If you link directly to the picture (press F5 when you are on the picture to get rid of the black popup thing it loads in and then right click and copy the image url) it works. But linking just to the page, when it is friends only, wont.
I panicked because I just found my invitation in my Spam folder. I feel better now because I didn't miss the party! I'll bring melted cheese crisps, celery with cream cheese and even more bacon! Woo hoo! My puppies came too. Hope you don't mind. :)
hmmm didn't you say once upon a time that jodee in posts is wearing the same as jodee IRL? If so, I'm totally picturing you in fab-o red party dress drawing away. It was fun. :)
I'll bring more of whatever the llama is eating. Do I need to wear a tie?
ReplyDeleteThe llama is eating a croquembouche. Ties are only acceptable if they are really awful. =D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! I've brought you a green jello brain! Oh I see you've left space for it on the table. Thanks!
ReplyDelete(I so rarely get to use my brain jello mold!)
Will there be bacon?

ReplyDeleteI'm in. Pasta salad.
ReplyDeleteThe best part about an imaginary party? I don't have to pay a babysitter. :D

Can I wear a costume? Please?!?!
ReplyDeleteI wanna be a (Wo)Man in Black.

ReplyDeleteHooray! I love a party, even make believe. So glad it's not a tumor. Before my mastectomy, I had a "Good bye to Boobies Party".
ReplyDeleteSince I didn't have much notice, I'll share the goat chees and Triscuits I brough to work for lunch.
Hooray! Party time ^_^

I'm coming, but I'm upset, because you're wearing the dress I was going to wear. Now I'm going to have to panic shop.
ReplyDelete... or did I already miss the party?
Good for you!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on not having a Tumor!! When's the Party?? I'll bring Chicken!!
ReplyDeleteThe party will last until October 2nd, at which time we will celebrate my birthday for the remainder of the year.

ReplyDeleteJennifer- I can always use more bacon!
